Storyline

I liked  it however came away thinking it wasn't pretty much as good as I expected. thus I went back and watched the play (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099851/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_34)

It's way, way better. The pic leaves out a number of the foremost fascinating material giving a way blander result, from the points of read of each comedy and drama.

And whereas i favor actress, Bernadette Peters achieves the role manner higher (it helps that she has all the initial material to figure with instead of a watered-down version.)

So if you prefer the pic, watch the play. If you're keen on the play, you may just like the pic however do not get your hopes too high. I even have to do to persuade my friends and family WHO ar lukewarm on the pic that the ought to watch the play.
